MASTERS’ HALL IN WŁOCŁAWEK




The most modern entertainment and sporting arena in Poland meets the requirements of world and European federations. The Masters’ Hall is often referred to as an example of a unique roof structure with a two-directional tension structure. The structure is an enhancement of a solution developed by Maciej Nowicki, a Polish architect.
The building and its designer have been awarded a number of prizes:
- Silver Laurels of the Polish Olympic Committee for the Masters’ Hall in Włocławek. 2004 for Wojciech Ryżyński, architect.
- Medal-Winning Building of Pomorze and Kujawy 2002
- Building of the Year 2001 – award by readers of “Gazeta Kujawska” in the contest for the “Most Beautiful building in Włocławek 2001”
